Staff Opening
Registrar
For the coming season - CHRVA is moving to the National system for member registration, Webpoint. The Registrar would be responsible for assisting with the set up of the new system and the transfer of the information from our old database to the new system, and assist with developing a training program. During the season the Registrar will use Webpoint to create clubs, confirm that background checks are completed, and answer lots and lots of questions from members, team reps, and club directors via phone and email. Because the new system allows for electronic signatures, the Registrar will no longer be required to collect signed waivers. All membership transactions will be (and must be) completed online. We expect that during this first season, answering questions will take about 50% of the time. The ideal candidate must have lots of patience for the endless questions that are expected and a helpful customer service attitude. Flexibility during the day and evening to receive phone calls and respond to email is also a must. If you know that your time is limited and you can't take calls or respond to email until late at night, this is not the right position for you. Finally, you must have excellent written and oral communication skills as you will be asked to write articles for Digs and provide training sessions at Junior club meetings. If you are interested, please provide a statement explaining why you are interested in the position, what skills you can bring to the position and therefore the Region, and anything that might impact your flexibility. Please email your statement to: Julie Briggs at julie.briggs@chrva.org by July 8.
